Chiller Replacement - Carrier AquaSnap
When a failing 1996 chiller experienced major refrigerant loss, our service team implemented a temporary solution to maintain partial cooling while a replacement Carrier AquaSnap chiller was procured. Once equipment arrived, Holts Mechanical completed the installation and startup, minimizing downtime for the facility.
After-Hours Mall Replacement
To avoid any disruption to mall operations and shoppers, our team executed the replacement of three 15 ton package units entirely overnight. We coordinated crane operations, removed existing equipment, and set and connected the new equipment before the mall reopened the next morning.

Emergency Smoke Exhaust System - Make-Up Air Damper Installation
This large make-up fresh air damper was installed at a shopping mall, over the food court area. In the event of a fire, the air conditioning units and exhaust fans activate, removing smoke, carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide and chemicals from the building.
This fresh air damper then opens, drawing in fresh outside air and preventing negative air pressure & backdrafting issues inside the building.
Multi-Unit Rooftop Changeout
Our team replaced four aging rooftop package units across a commercial business park. The project included installing curb adapters to accommodate the updated unit footprint.
Carrier Chill Water Coil Replacement - San Antonio ISD
During Winter Storm Uri in February 2021, freezing temperatures caused catastrophic pipe failures at a local public school, bursting one chilled water coil, and two hot water coils inside the air handler. Our team was called in to perform an emergency replacement, sourcing new coils and completing the installation during the winter break to minimize disruption to students and staff. All new coils were fully insulated and pressure tested before use.
